Historic Preservation Planning

Usually a two-day tech visit.  This tech visit will develop or give recommendations on:

• How to proceed with an intensive historic survey;
• How to establish a local or national historic district;
• How to develop local historic district ordinance;
• Obtaining Certified Local Government status and the grants associated with this status;
• Establishing a local historic preservation commission; and
• Developing historic preservation education awareness programs.
